Japanese Logistics firm Hankyu Hanshin Express plans to roll out Kewill’s freight forwarding software across its operations in the UK.
The fully managed system will be used to manage its air, sea and road based Logistics operations.
This is the second phase of a project to convert all operations onto one integrated freight forwarding platform. The first phase took on the system in Germany last year, and phase three will see encompass the rest of Europe.
The wider project will integrate Kewill Forwarding and Kewill’s multi-national customs solution, CustomsXchange, automating compliance with customs procedures, such as importing, exporting and New Computerised Transit Systems.
Jon Smerin, UK logistics manager at Hankyu Hanshin Express, said: “Multi-country deployment capabilities are key for us given that we operate in so many diverse regions, and Kewill has proved it is more than capable to deliver on both a regional and international level.”
