Open data network, amee, has entered a new partnership with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with which it will work to identify risk within the FCO’s supply chain and aim to help improve public sector efficiency.
The company’s database stores more than 2.7 million UK businesses’ profiles, providing information on their environmental and financial credibility.
Having signed up to the government procurement services earlier this year, this is the second partnership amee has made with the UK government.
As part of the new deal, amee has also launched an enhanced version of its business directory, which now includes free financial risk scores, and access to Companies’ House documents.
“The additional services that we have announced today position amee as the go-to site for business risk, thanks to our unique combination of environmental and financial data. said chief executive officer, Tim Murphy.
“As the UK starts to emerge from recession, companies’ ability to assess and understand business risk will be vital for future growth – amee is well positioned to provide this understanding.”
