DHL Freight has launched Eurapid – a day-definite service for less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.
Eurapid was the name of a service operated by Danzas, which was acquired by Deutsche Post in 2000.
The new service is available for pan-European LTL shipments of up to 2.5 tonnes, and includes same-day pick-up, same-day delivery information, and standard end-to-end lead time reports.
All Eurapid shipments can be tracked via DHL’s Activetracing smartphone app, and will be shipped according to fixed timetables.
