Men’s designer swim wear retailer, Orlebar Brown, has awarded Torque a contract, to manage the holding of its entire European stock, from its 550,000 sq ft distribution centre in Leeds.
With more than 250 independent retailers selling the brand worldwide, London-based Orlebar Brown has three stores in the city, and plans to open a fourth.
Having already received and undertaken a full count of stock transferred from the retailer’s previous warehouse, Torque will now also pick, pack, and despatch all sales orders to Orlebar Brown’s wholesale and retail customers, as part of the new deal.
It will pick replenishment orders and offer a personalised embroidery service for garments.
“Factors such as the scalability of Torque’s stock holding mean they’re able to satisfy all our current needs, from a warehousing and fulfilment centre perspective, including being able to handle the seasonal nature of our business,” said operations director Lindsey Cotter.
“We’re very confident they’ll be able to cater for our future requirements too.”
