Andrew Blatherwick has been appointed non-executive director of Relex, the provider of retail planning and supply chain systems.
Having begun his career at Boots in 1977, as group product manager foods, Blatherwick has since held roles such as supply chain director at Iceland, international president at E3 Corporation, and president of JDA EMEA.
Mikko Kärkkäinen, chief executive officer at Relex, said: “The UK is one of the toughest markets in Europe to break into and Andrew brings a profound understanding of UK (and pan-European) retail gained across four decades both as a senior supply chain executive and as a systems expert.”
