EnerSys has introduced its new Service Activity Report Management (SARM) system, to support its range of Hawker batteries and chargers.
Designed to ensure service-related data is collected and stored accurately, the company hopes the new system will give it greater insight into the maintenance of the Hawker range.
To build a complete history of the products, information will be added to the system during every maintenance visit, recording all actions taken by the service engineer.
EnerSys said the engineers will also be able to access SARM directly from their laptops, to enter real-time data, and customers will automatically be informed by email when their equipment has been serviced.
