The Road Transport Industry Training Board it will be uploading real-time updates of this year’s Operator of the Year competition grand final and gala dinner onto Facebook and Twitter.
RTITB said it has tried to use the social media sites as much as possible throughout this year’s competition, to keep the industry and general public up to date with all developments and announcements.
It hopes that by sharing the grand final and awards dinner online, it will raise awareness of the event and celebrate excellence within an industry “often overlooked”.
