The Road Haulage Association has teamed up with Cotswold Medicals, to provide its members with a new medical service, RHA Driver Medicals.
Independent examiners of bus drivers, lorry drivers and taxi drivers, Cotswold examines tens of thousands of drivers from around 50 locations throughout the UK.
Dr Phil Thornley, founder and medical director of Cotswold, said: “We aim to ensure that every driver feels he has been dealt with efficiently and courteously, and has received a careful and thorough medical assessment.”
