Lloyd Fraser has implemented Isotrak’s CANBus module, to monitor and manage driver behaviour within its bulk liquid milk transport division.
The company says the tracking system enables it to collect live driving style data, and leads to fuel savings across all 40 of its vehicles within its milk tanker and secondary delivery vehicle fleet.
“We were confident that we could achieve between a two and five per cent saving in our annual fuel usage if we could improve driver performance – and with the benefits of the Isotrak system, it is assisting us in doing so,” said Lee Westgate, regional manager, South, at Lloyd Fraser Milk Division.
Drivers will now receive individual weekly driver score cards, based on the information reported by Isotrak, enabling Lloyd Fraser to congratulate those performing above standard, and focus on those who need to improve their driving style.
