Manufacturer of high pressure laminate and global provider of branded surfacing solutions, Formica Group, has chosen AIDC Solutions’ AIDC-WHM warehouse management system, to run its new UK storage and distribution centre in County Durham.
Formica has opened a 50,000 sq ft warehouse, and expects the system to speed decision making, optimise inventory management, and integrate with its ERP system.
“AIDC-WHM ticked all our boxes, and unlike the other WMS systems we reviewed did not require reprogramming to meet our specialised picking requirements,” said group European logistics manager at Formica, Lee Edwards.
