Former Kimberley-Clark European supply chain director, Peter Surtees, has launched a consultancy, to help businesses improve their supply chains.
With more than 20 years of experience within the industry, Surtees is also a founding board member of the European Logistics, Users, Providers & Enablers Group, and has previously been awarded the CILT Sir Robert Lawrence Award.
He will now work with manufacturers and shippers, to focus on collaboration, network optimisation, customer service, and transport planning.
“I have started this consultancy to dedicate my time to focus on the parts of the supply chain which get me up in the morning: network design, transport optimisation and efficiency, and using technology to find innovative solutions to reduce costs,” he said.
