Distribution project manager at Tesco, Danielle Kozlowska, has won the title of Women in Logistics UK’s Woman of the Year 2013, for her role in the merger between Stanley and Black & Decker.
With more than ten years of experience in the logistics industry, Kozlowska is also founder and chair of the Northamptonshire Professional Ladies networking group, and former chair of the Brackmills Estate Procurement and Effectiveness Group, at Northampton’s Brackmills Industrial Estate.
She joined Tesco in May this year, where she is now responsible for implementing cost saving initiatives.
“I’ve been working in a male dominated industry for over a decade and these awards prove that I am one of an increasing number of women in the logistics industry, challenging the status quo and making a real mark in the transport and logistics sector,” she said.
