River Island has awarded Hermes a contract extension for the provision of home delivery of all its clothes, shoes and accessories online orders.
The deal will see Hermes operate as an approved partner for the retailer’s standard delivery service, collecting parcels from River Island’s Milton Keynes distribution centre on a daily basis.
All goods will then be taken to Hermes’ national hub, in Nuneaton, for processing and sorting, before being delivered o addresses nationwide.
“We work with a number of key partners to provide a high-quality range of delivery options for customers in the UK, and are now looking forward to continuing our relationship with Hermes and developing it in the future,” said head of purchasing at River Island, Martin Goldstein.
