Oil and gas logistics specialist, Lubbers Transport Group, has invested £300,000 in its first 100 tonne SL type trailer, to meet the increasing demand of the UK and Europe’s energy industry.
The new investment will see the company’s UK arm, RTH Lubbers, take responsibility of the multi axle low loader trailer, as it expands its oil and gas services.
The trailer has a removable extendable bed, enabling it to operate as either an 8 axle semi-trailer or a 3 bed 5 axle low loader.
“The unique and customised nature of the trailer will provide us with a significant advantage in the market place and allow us to transport some of the biggest loads in the oil and gas industry to most energy centres on the continent,” said RTH Lubbers’ managing director, Tony Tailford.
