SpeedCell and Apex Linvar have been announced as the most recent companies to exhibit at this year’s Logistics Link North, following a second major deal between the two businesses.
UK storage solutions provider, Apex Linvar, recently implemented SpeedCell’s mobile storage and picking solution at its client River Island’s Milton Keynes national distribution centre.
The implementation saw SpeedCell fitted into pallet racking bays at ground level, to store fashion clothes and accessories, which go out to more than a hundred countries.
It has seen more than 10,000 additional picking locations created in two aisles at the facility.
Taking place on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th October 2013 at Doncaster Racecourse, the exhibition will be co-located with the new Port to Shelf event.
The two exhibitions hope to help supply chain directors, distribution heads, warehouse managers, logistics managers and shipping and transport managers, explore the full range of distribution and supply chain options available to them.
Confirmed attendees include senior buyers from John Lewis, B&Q, L’Oreal UK, Jaguar Land Rover, British Airways, Office Depot, GlaxoSmithKline, BOC, Home Retail Group, Shell, Tesco, Total Oil, and Walkers Snack Foods.
Both the Logistics Link North and Port to Shelf are free to enter, and will combine to provide one event for professionals responsible for getting products to customers on time and to spec.
