Jungheinrich has invested £6 million in its fleet of forklift trucks and other handling products it offers for short term rental, bringing the total number of models within the fleet to 4,000.
The investment comes as the company said the short term rental market is growing throughout the UK, with strong demand during seasonal peaks and the emerging events industry, where trucks are needed to build up and breakdown a festival, or sporting event.
Jungheinrich said that all its short term rental vehicles are now on average less than 24-months old.
