The logistics arm of the Clugston Group, Clugston Distribution, has invested £500,000 in new vehicles, four of which will serve its recent contract with InterBulk, where it procures specialist trailers designed to InterBulk’s specification.
The four additional vehicles bring the total number of vehicles deployed by Clugston to InterBulk, on a daily basis, to ten.
They will be scheduled by InterBulk’s operations team in Hull, and operate from the Humber and Tees ports.
The investment means Clugston has now invested a total of some £2 million in its fleet, in less than 18 months.
