Parcel carrier City Link has recruited 80 apprentices to its new apprenticeship scheme.
Seventeen have been placed in contact centres in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Hatfield where they will be working in customer service. The remaining 63 are taking up warehouse and storage apprenticeships at 18 of City Link’s 60 depots across the UK.
The recruitment drive followed the launch of a trial scheme last year. More than 100 employees completed the first year of the programme.
