Johnson & Johnson Medical China, has awarded Kuehne + Nagel a contract for the warehouse management of its medical devices in China.
As part of the agreement Kuehne + Nagel will operate a logistics facility according to best-in-class standards for the handling of medical device and healthcare products. For this purpose the logistics provider
K+N has set up a dedicated 20,000 sqm warehouse close to the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. Temperature-controlled areas allow the storage of products at temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius, 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and from -22 to -18 degrees Celsius.
“The cooperation with Kuehne + Nagel goes beyond the scope of a traditional logistics service provider. We rely on its knowledge and expertise in managing our logistics processes,” said Helen Liu, senior director of Johnson & Johnson CLS China.
