Suttons has acquired Chinese transport company Han Chi Logistics, in a bid to develop its operational footprint in the country.
The company also hopes that the acquisition will increase its customers’ competitiveness through a greater choice of logistics solutions available to them there.
“This is an important development for the business and forms part of our growth strategy in China. It will enable us to offer a wider range of services to customers while ensuring that we continue to provide the highest levels of safety, health, environment and quality, and customer service standards,” said chief executive officer John Sutton.
