David Binks has been appointed regional president of FedEx Express EMEA. He takes over in January 2014, succeeding Gerald P Leary who is retiring from the company after 39 years.
Having worked at FedEx since 1983, Binks has previously held a number of management positions in both EMEA and Canada at the company.
In his new role he will take responsibility for FedEx Express across the entire EMEA region, based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Brussels.
Michael Holt, who is currently chief executive officer of FedEx UK and vice president of operational integration, Europe, will take on Binks’ current role of senior vice president of European operations.
