SWIP’s Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust has launched The Hub, a 43,000 sq ft unit at its Air Cargo Centre next to Glasgow Airport and junction 28 of the M8.
The unit, which has a secure yard will be available for occupation from January 2014.
“Secure detached units of this size and quality are a rarity in core locations in Glasgow and we believe there will be strong market interest for this warehouse space,” said Nick Smith, fund manager for AIPUT.
The Air Cargo Centre currently provides approximately 150,000 sq ft of warehousing space to the aviation and cargo community.
Companies on the estate include DHL, Expeditors International, UTi Worldwide, Gate Gourmet, Alpha Catering and British Airways.
