UCH Logistics has taken a 20,000 sq ft warehouse at the World Freight Terminal at Manchester Airport.
UCH provides specialist transport and security screening services to the airfreight industry. Nova Barker, general manager for UCH in Manchester, said: “The warehouse will have state of the art equipment installed, including leading products in the world of security screening. UCH looks forward to working closely with MAG (Manchester Airports Group) Property in the future.”
John Atkins, property director for MAG, said: “Growing our logistics credentials is a key focus for MAG Property, and this letting makes achieving that objective one step closer. As we look to develop our logistics offering with the Airport City project, this letting is another sign of the confidence in our product but also the need to grow this area of our business even more.”
