Transaid is hoping its Christmas e-card appeal will raise £15,000 in the charity’s 15th anniversary year.
All money raised from the appeal will help the charity continue to develop a number of projects in Africa, including those that help make roads safer, as road crashes continue to be the third biggest killer after HIV/AIDS and Malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Chief Executive, Gary Forster, said: “Raising £15,000 at the end of our 15th year would be a perfect end to 2013. “This year’s e-card is really special and we hope all our supporters in the transport industry will enjoy sending it to their friends and family, and know their support is helping Transaid continue with vital work across Africa.”
