ReHau manufacturers of UPVC products for the construction and automotive industry, has demonstrated its confidence in the improving economic conditions by signing a 15 year lease on a warehouse in Runcorn.
It has taken PIN Properties’ 132,000 sq ft Manor Point warehouse that was speculatively developed in 2009 at the height of the property downturn by Pin Property. The facility was originally occupied by Medline who vacated the property earlier this year when their business was transferred to mainland Europe
Manor Point will become Rehau’s UK distribution centre employing 60 people and creating up to 40 new jobs over the next five years. They are relocating from 3MG in Widnes but will maintain manufacturing facilities in North Wales.
Imran Younus, marketing director of Pin Property said: “This is a win/win deal for both parties. The building is of a very high specification which allows Rehau to consolidate their UK distribution in a strategic location.”
Rehau has agreed a rent of £4.95 per sq ft. CBRE acted for the landlord. B8 Real Estate acted for Rehau. Manchester Law firm Kuits advised the landlord.
