Air Charter Service has arranged for a number of cargo charters carrying essential aid to be sent to the Philippines, in the wake of the recent typhoon Haiyan.
The typhoon swept through six central Philippine islands last Friday, and has already claimed 10,000 victims in Tacloban alone, leaving hundreds of thousands more homeless and in need of urgent aid.
ACS has already booked some 500 tonnes of cargo to be flown out on various aircraft types, including water purification equipment, food, and shelter, and is expecting to book a lot more in the coming days.
