Cornwall-based Kay Transport has acquired South West Deliveries’ former Truro depot, retaining 33 former South West Deliveries members of staff and relocating another five into its owner, the Gregory Group.
Earlier in the year, the company also acquired King Stag Transport and relocated its pallet operation to the Hall & Woodhouse brewery site in Blandford Forum.
The Gregory Group said these acquisitions have brought new strategically located sites into its UK operation, and saved jobs at the same time.
