Liverpool City Council’s planning committee has granted planning permission for a 1.2 million sq ft commercial development in Croxteth, which is speculated to become a new distribution centre for Amazon.
The proposal made by Gallan Stoford was considered yesterday, and approved with a number of environmental conditions.
Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson had previously said: “This proposal is a key part of our efforts to regenerate Croxteth and the city as a whole, and has the potential to create huge, much-needed employment opportunities for local people.”
