DO & CO Event and Airline Catering has signed a long-term agreement with The Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT), for a 9,400 sq ft warehouse at Heathrow South Cargo Centre.
DO & CO provides catering services for international airlines, such as British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, and China Southern Airlines, in London.
It also offers its services at worldwide events, including the London Chelsea Flower Show, and the UEFA Champions League Final.
The additional space means that DO & CO’s Heathrow operation will now total 80,000 sq ft. The company will use the new facility as an add-on to its existing sites on the estate, to support the growth of its London Heathrow catering division.
“The estate’s 24/7 unrestricted access and strategic location to the airport with its strong connections and direct access to Central London delivers great transport and business efficiencies to our valued customers,” said fund manager of AIPUT at SWIP Real Estate, Nick Smith.
“This letting demonstrates the positive shift in confidence by loyal airport related operators who are committing to long term investments aided by a recovering economic climate.”
AIPUT was represented by Dowley Turner Real Estate, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Eversheds.
