Gazeley has acquired a strategic 18.5 acre logistics site in Daventry between Northampton and Rugby.
The site which has planning, will be prepared for G.Track (Gazeley’s rapid build delivery programme) and offers build to suit opportunities in excess of 250,000 sq ft. Gazeley has purchased the site from Ford Motor Company with Savills advising Gazeley and Cushman & Wakefield advising Ford.
In a separate development on Magna Park Lutterworth, Gazeley has signed a deal with Canada Life Investments to extend its current national distribution centre. The project which is due to commence early in January, will see the construction of a 40,000 sq ft extension to the existing 110,000 sq ft distribution facility, eventually creating a building of 150,000 sq ft due to be completed in the summer.
