MetaPack has completed the acquisition of XLogics Group, which offers logistics, technology, and dispatch solutions, as well as consultancy services, to both B2B and B2C retailers around the world.
The business comprises Germany-based XLogics GmbH, and Poland-based XLogics Sp.
The acquisition comes in response to growing demand for MetaPack services in Europe, which has also seen the company open an office in Hamburg.
MetaPack said the acquisition enables it to have direct integrations with more than 200 additional carrier networks worldwide, giving its customers access to a combination of some 3,000 global carrier services.
“This deal is the base to expand the solution and service offering of XLogics and MetaPack simultaneously, which will be a great benefit for all our clients,” said managing director of the XLogics Group, Henning Berndt.
MetaPack’s founder and chief executive officer, Patrick Wall, added: “XLogics has many years’ experience of helping their customers to fulfil online delivery promises and we are very excited about the possibilities that this deal brings.”
All account management and customer support at XLogics will remain the same.
