Is outsourcing logistics to a 3PL always the best strategy for a retailer or manufacturer? That question will be at the heart of the debate at the Logistics Manager Summit in February.
The theme of the summit is “Outsourcing and Third Party Logistics”. It will look at the pros and cons of outsourcing as well as looking at the experiences of organisations that have taken logistics operations back in house.

Contract terms will come under scrutiny as well as how to get the best out of your 3PL.
There will also be a session looking at the role of a Lead Logistics Provider, which will also consider whether LLPs and 3PLs can lead supply chain transformations.
The Logistics Manger Summit takes place on Wednesday 12th February at Sandown Park, Esher.
