IAG Cargo has introduced its Constant Climate network into five new European airports in Prague, Vienna, Las Palmas, Basel, and Zurich, to support businesses operating from these key pharmaceutical hubs.
The Constant Climate offering provides the precision temperature-controlled transport and storage of pharmaceutical and life sciences goods around the world. It supports temperatures as low as 20˚C and as high as 25˚C.
IAG said the opening of these new sites comes in response to global demand for the specialist service.
“These additional centres mark our continued commitment to invest in our Constant Climate facilities,” said global head of pharmaceuticals & life sciences, Alan Dorling.
“Looking forward to 2014, we should see the opening of further centres where we will pass the milestone of 100 centres worldwide.”
