eBay is offering its UK customers a new click and collect service for the first time this Christmas, allowing them to order until the 19 December, and collect until Christmas eve.
Some 250,000 product lines from around 50 online sellers are available to collect from stores nationwide as part of the service.
Retailers who have an account on eBay, such as Sole Trader and Eurocarparts, are offering collection from their own store network, while other selected eBay sellers have teamed up with Argos, to provide collection at 150 of its UK stores.
“As shoppers continue to use digital channels and demand a variety of convenient fulfilment methods for their orders, eBay is rising to this challenge,” said vice president UK, Tanya Lawler.
“This service delivers what shoppers want: choice, convenience and speed – the opportunity to shop anytime, anywhere, on any device.
“Customers need to feel reassured that their transaction is secure and that their purchase will be delivered on time to a location convenient to them.”
