FedEx has appointed Trevor Hoyle vice president of operations for FedEx UK & Ireland.

Hoyle was previously managing director of ground operations UK & Ireland, FedEx Express & FedEx UK.
He joined FedEx Express in 1995 as an operations manager, becoming MD of UK operations in 2001 where he delivered significant improvements. Following the acquisition of the ANC Group in the UK, Hoyle moved across to FedEx UK as MD of Domestic Operations in April 2007.
His appointment follows the recent appointments of David Binks, who will assume the role of regional president of FedEx Express, EMEA and Michael Holt who will be promoted to senior vice president, European operations.
