[asset_ref id=”2132″]ASOS has installed a new dispatch sorter from Beumer at its UK global distribution hub, which distributes some 50 million garments worldwide every year.
BEUMER supplies automated material handling systems to business around the world.
ASOS hopes the company’s LS-4000 sorter will improve accuracy of the dispatch process, in turn providing significant gains in operational efficiency.
“The sorter also allows for future capacity expansion in line with our growth expectations,” said senior development manager at ASOS, David Swinbank.
“It offers us the ability to offer a high level of delivery service to our customers, which is a significant differentiator in the highly competitive online fashion market.”
