The British Freight Association has revealed the winners of its Freight Service Awards 2013, marking 25 years of the ceremony.
BIFA president Sir Peter Bottomley MP, presented all finalists with their certificates along with host and star of the BBC’s Countryfile, Julia Bradbury.
“The luncheon represented a splendid landmark, both for the Awards and the Association,” said director general, Peter Quantrill.
“Given the strength of support for the Awards, and the enjoyment each luncheon has provided for the last 25 years, I have no hesitation in forecasting that we will be toasting the success of the 50th Freight Service Awards in 2038!”

The Special Services Award: James Cargo Services
The Staff Development Award: Dachser
The Supply Chain Management Award: Yusen Logistics UK
The Air Freight Award:OHL International
The European Logistics Award: DSV Road
The Ocean Freight Award: Cardinal Maritime
The Young Freight Forwarder Award: Phoebe Rockwood of Damco UK
IAG Cargo also received a special recognition award, for having sponsored the event for the full 25 years since its inception.
