FlexLink, which supplies conveyors and industrial automation equipment, has awarded Kuehne + Nagel a two-year contract extension, as its exclusive logistics and transport service provider.
Based in Sweden, FlexLink operates in 25 countries around the world, and is represented in more than 60.
Kuehne + Nagel will continue to manage FlexLink’s international transport movements from the company’s global hub in Poznan, as well as provide air and sea transport services to more than 30 global destinations.
It will also offer part load and groupage overland services throughout Europe, as part of the deal.
“We are confident to achieve further supply chain optimisations with Kuehne + Nagel, and are also envisaging to transfer selective parts of our contract logistics needs to the company in the future,” said chief operations officer at FlexLink, Svante Anderholm.
