Dave Biegger has been appointed as senior vice president, global supply chain, at US-based soup maker Campbell Soup Company, replacing David White, who is retiring from the company.
Biegger joined Campbell in 2005, where he has since held roles such as vice president strategic planning, global supply chain, and vice president North America supply chain.
Effective from April this year, the appointment will see him now take responsibility for all engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, quality, and facilities, at the company.
“Dave is a strategic leader with deep expertise in supply chain management, coupled with broad experience in managing and operating plants. He is the right leader for this role as we strengthen our core business and expand into higher growth spaces to reshape Campbell for the future,” said president and chief executive officer, Denise Morrison.
White leaves the company after ten years of service.
