Logistics revenues rose 9.4 per cent to €1.95bn at Norbert Dentressangle last year, but the transport business recorded a 1.2 per cent fall to €2.01bn.
Overall sales were up 3.9 per cent to €4.03bn and EBITDA is expected to be close the the levels of the past two years.
Chairman HervéMontjotin said: “Our group is reaping the benefits of its significant presence in the recovering British economy and its positioning in business sectors linked to household consumption, including e-commerce. The Transport business has confirmed the more favourable trend in its business activities with a regular improvement over the past few months. In the Logistics business, after the positive momentum recorded in 2013, the growth slated for the next few months is strong.”
Freight Forwarding produced 2013 revenue of €145 million. These figures include the Daher Group’s freight forwarding businesses in France and Russia, which joined the group in October last year.
