The FSDF has introduced the IOSH Managing Safely course to its training repertoire.The course reinforces the Health and Safety Leadership Programme launched in early January 2014.
It is delivered over four days and is designed to educate line managers, supervisors and team managers on all major Health, Safety and Environmental issues and provide the knowledge and practical experience needed to confidently manage key issues within their teams.
Chris Sturman, chief executiveat FSDF said: ““One of the three targets of the HSE Logistics strategy is Competence & Worker Involvement, highlighting that Individuals at all levels need to accept their roles and responsibilities for health and safety. The IOSH course reinforces this message and helps give managers the tools to implement high standards of health and safety throughout their working day.”
