C&D South West has opened a new 25,000 sq ft office, logistics and storage depot in Dorset, as part of its network development strategy.
Shareholder member of the Palletforce network, Chard-based C&D is a pallet logistics expert that operates around the world.
The company hopes that by expanding its logistics and pallet delivery services in the South of England, in turn being closer to central London, its customers will benefit from improved levels of distribution, locally, nationally, and internationally.
The new facility will offer management of the end-to-end pallet delivery and logistics process; collecting, storing, and distributing goods around the world.
It will support C&D’s existing Somerset depot, as well as its work with PalletForce.
“We have created ten new jobs for the area and are continuously expanding our fleet of trucks,” said managing director, Darren Hammond.
“With our Dorset depot we are even better placed to serve new and existing customers.”
