Dachser, has taken possession of its purpose built facility at Brackmills, Northampton. Developer Roxhill Investments handed over the keys at the end of last month bringing the base-build phase of the development to completion.
Dachser has been developing a 64,000 sq ft cross-dock as well as a 114,000 sq ft contract logistics warehouse and 21,000 sq ft of offices at the 16.4 acre site.
It is now working on final fit-out and expects to start operations in the last week of Mark.
“We are very pleased that we will soon be moving into a brand new facility which will give us scope to continue to expand our business,” said Nick Lowe, Dachser’s UK Managing Director. “It represents a multi-million pound investment and endorses our commitment to Northampton as a prime location for a major European logistics hub centre.”
Dachser UK also has branches in Dartford and Rochdale. A Reading sales office opened in January 2013.
