Developer SEGRO is to speculatively build a warehouse at its flagship Slough Trading Estate scheme in Berkshire.
The 60,500 sq ft facility will be built on a plot at 12 Liverpool Road and will be suitable for light industrial, warehouse, distribution and data centre facilities.
It will provide a secure yard alongside 101 parking spaces and is targeting an EPC rating of B, The unit will be available for occupation in Spring 2015.
This latest development is SEGRO’s second speculative industrial/warehouse scheme in Slough to start this year.
In January 2014, SEGRO announced it was constructing three units of 41,900 sq ft, 15,400 sq ft and 13,250 sq ft, respectively, at Buckingham Avenue.
