Innovative new products drew strong visitor support to Logistics Link Live at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
This year Logistics Link Live, which took place on 4th and 5th June, saw a number of product launches.
* B+ showed off a new packaging solution called e-Cube, which can save typically 25 per cent on the transported cube and up to ten times less cushioning materials.
* Red Ledge chose the event for the first public showing of its ‘Red Ledge RFID Manufacturing & Logistics’ end-to-end production and warehousing system built on RFID technology.
* Ambassador Antalis debuted the new Masterline ePacker, the latest addition to the Lantech stretch wrap systems, helping visitors to improve their business efficiency, cut costs and reduce wastage.
* BCMX launched its communications software, which enables companies to share, store and retrieve information more effectively and eliminating ambiguity encountered in data exchanges.
Exhibitors said they had seen a high level of enquiries from leading manufacturers and retailers.
The technical seminar programme also attracted visitors keen to learn about a new low entry cost customer order picking strategy from Flexi Narrow Aisle; RFID implementation from inotec, order fulfilment methods from Snapfulfil; and the business case for investment from OBS.
Running alongside the exhibition was the Logistics Manager Summit which focused on Cost and Efficiency – critical issues for logistics professionals in today’s business environment.
