Sky has renewed its contract with UTL, part of the Unipart Group, for a further five years.
UTL provides a wide range of services to Sky, including forward and reverse logistics, recycling services, set top box repair and fleet management supporting more than 2,900 Sky engineers. The new contract is an extension across all service areas.
Around 40 per cent of all homes now use one or more of Sky’s TV, broadband and home telephony services.
The deal extends the existing ten-year relationship to July 2019.
Supply chain director Giles Harvey, said: “Sky continues to introduce new products and services, and we look to UTL for operational excellence and innovation to ensure that Sky customers always receive the very best customer experience.”
And Nicola Couse, UTL’s media sector director, said: “Since starting work for Sky in 2004, we have demonstrated that we are committed to innovation and continuous improvement.”
