Fishers Services, the Scottish commercial laundry, is replacing more than two thirds of its delivery fleet, in a contract hire deal with Ryder that includes 25 Euro 5 vehicles.
The 57 vehicle; five and six-year contract is Fishers’ first major contract hire deal with Ryder and includes trucks, tractor units, vans and trailers.
The order includes 25 Mercedes-Benz Axor 1824 tail lift trucks with 27 ft box bodies, derogated for delivery during the spring of 2014.
Robin White, sales and marketing director at Ryder, said: “Ryder has secured a wide range of derogated Euro 5 vehicles, so we can offer customers a genuine choice – helping them make the transition towards Euro 6.”
