iForce has today launched its commercial software package Route Genie, which provides advanced carriage management capability for retailers.
“We have spent a great deal of time and money to take our base carriage management software, used by many of our existing clients to a new level of operational and customer service capability to produce a product that can be sold as SaaS to retailers who currently don’t use our logistics services,” said Geoff Taylor, Route Genie Managing Director
The new software is the result of a multi-million pound investment in the carriage routing system used by iForce over the last 10 years to route millions of parcels for clients like Waitrose, Paperchase and Fortnum and Mason.
A representative of Waitrose Cellar said: “For almost ten years, Route Genie has been despatching our wine throughout the UK using multiple carriers. During significant promotional volume, Route Genie remains robust and will allocate without any delay. It can be configured to our needs and we have full confidence that it will allocate accurately at all times.”
