Heathrow Airport has awarded Logistics and security firm Wilson James a five year contract extension for its role as logistics integrator.
Wilson James will begin work under the contract in July, including construction logistics for Heathrow’s £1.5 billion development programme and operational support through the management and distribution of the airport’s engineering materials.
The terms of the deal cover strategic planning and the operation of Colnbrook Logistics Centre, the logistics and screening centre for construction activities at Heathrow.
Mark Dobson, chief executive at Wilson James said “Having been a first tier supplier to Heathrow for over 10 years, we understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of Heathrow’s existing operations throughout their development programme. We look forward to supporting HAL as their Logistics Integrator and helping them achieve their objectives throughout the next five years.”
