TICCO Foods has signed a new ten year deal with food logistics firm ACS&T, for the installation and management of a new 1,500 pallet frozen, chilled and ambient storage facility, as well as for running its12-vehicle van delivery fleet.
The agreement will also allow third parties access to the direct delivery fleet, creating, for the first time, a shared-user, final mile delivery platform which charges at case level.
ACS&T has been providing TICCO Foods with logistics services for the past 18 years.
Jay Sanghera, Managing Director for TICCO Foods, said: “As a company, we have extensive experience delivering the world-renowned Bindi brand of Italian desserts and gelato to independent restaurants in the South East, as well as supplying wholesalers across the country with our full catalogue. We will be able to capitalise on this knowledge effectively to support ACS&T in providing an efficient and bespoke service.”
